Our history
George Di Candilo founded the company in 1952. From humble beginnings recycling and exporting scrap metal, Di Candilo Steel City grew to become a mainstay in steel supply across Western Australia.
We took the next step in 2024, establishing Di Candilo North West. Our new Exmouth facility is fully equipped and ideally located to provide top-quality steel supplies and minor metal fabrication for customers in Pilbara and Gascoyne communities, and connect our network to service the entire state.
